Legal Troubles for the Stars

Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi are facing legal challenges related to their forthcoming film 'Jolly LLB 3', following a notice issued by a Pune court. The trouble began when lawyer Wajid Khan Bidkar lodged a complaint, alleging that the film mocks the legal system and court processes. This marks the second instance of legal issues for the movie, as a prior complaint was filed in May 2024.

Court Appearance Scheduled

The court has summoned both actors to appear on September 28, 2025. According to reports, Bidkar contends that the film portrays the legal system and court proceedings in a disrespectful manner, which he believes undermines the judiciary. He specifically criticized the use of the term 'mamu' to refer to judges.

Overview of 'Jolly LLB 3'

The original 'Jolly LLB' featured Arshad Warsi, Boman Irani, Amrita Rao, and Saurabh Shukla in key roles, centering on Advocate Jagdish Tyagi, also known as Jolly, who takes on a hit-and-run case involving six innocent laborers, challenging the wealthy and corrupt judicial system.

'Jolly LLB 2', which debuted in 2017, introduced Akshay Kumar as Jagdishwar Mishra, the new Jolly. The sequel included Huma Qureshi, Annu Kapoor, and Kumud Mishra, with Saurabh Shukla returning as the judge. This installment focused on a lawyer's quest for justice for a victim of a fake encounter involving a corrupt police officer and a presumed dead terrorist, as he battles against a powerful advocate.

'Jolly LLB 3' is set to hit theaters on September 19, 2025, featuring Akshay and Arshad alongside Saurabh Shukla, Huma Qureshi, and Amrita Rao, who will reprise their roles from the earlier films.
